Welcome to Remote Control Landscape Maintenance

RCLM Introduction Kit

This is my aluminum RC kit invention which transforms a push-mower to a remote-controlled lawn mower.

RCLM Zero-Turn Kit

RCLM Zero-Turn Kit

This is the RCLM Zero-Turn Kit for the Echo 58V Lawn Mower. The aluminum kit can be made for any push-mower. The kit costs $4,000 and the Spektrum remote-control electronics cost $791.91 plus tax.  Commercial applications should consider at least a second set of batteries ($110) to rotate between properties.

RCLM Zero-Turn Performance

This is a performance video of the RCLM Zero-Turn RC Mower. With a two-stick remote, the left stick controls the left motor and the right stick controls the right motor. It is challenging to keep a straight line, but is very maneuverable. Best suited for flat to low-grade terrain.

RCLM RWD FWS Kit

This is the RCLM RWD FWS Kit for the Echo 58V Lawn Mower. The aluminum kit can be made for any push-mower. The kit costs $3,500 and the Spektrum remote-control electronics cost $977.85 plus tax with the two-stick remote and $942.85 plus tax with the gun-style remote.  Commercial applications should consider at least a second set of batteries ($110) to rotate between properties.

RCLM RWD FWS Performance

This is a performance video of the RCLM RWD FWS RC Mower. Either a two-stick remote or gun-style remote can be utilized with this configuration. With a two-stick remote, the left stick controls the forward/reverse and the right stick controls the left/right steering. With a gun-style remote, the trigger controls forward/reverse and the wheel controls left/right steering. This kit is very user-friendly and steering control is very precise. Best suited for flat to mid-grade terrain.

RCLM AWD FWS Kit

This is the RCLM AWD FWS Kit for the Echo 58V Lawn Mower.   The aluminum kit can be made for any push-mower. The kit costs $5,000  and the Spektrum remote-control electronics cost $1,417.81 plus tax with the two-stick remote and $1,392.81 plus tax with the gun-style remote. The electronics includes one set of batteries with one charger for a run-time over 1 hour. Commercial applications should consider at least a second set of batteries ($200) and a second charger ($150).

RCLM AWD FWS 75 Degree Slope

This is a slope video of the RCLM AWD FWS RC Mower. This demonstration shows the low center-of-gravity and tipping-point of the machine. Since the operator is separated from the machine with remote-control technology, the machine is able to operate on slopes greater than 30 degrees. The tipping-point of this machine is close to 75 degrees, meaning it can operate on any 45 to 60 degree slope while keeping the operator at a safe distance.

RCLM AWD FWS Performance

This is a performance video of the RCLM AWD FWS RC Mower. This speed has the remote set at 50% and I'm giving it half throttle. The AWD FWS Kit can maintain this performance all day on any terrain.

Remote-Controlled Electronics

This video explains how to configure the RC Electronics for the RCLM Kit. This covers the Spektrum Smart ESCs programming and correct wiring configuration.

RCLM AWD FWS Clean, Rebuild, Program

If you have a  minute, watch this video to learn about the RCLM AWD FWS Kit. This video details the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, programming, and reassembly of the entire kit. After 4 months of field testing, I can confidently say the kit will last forever and the electronics will last three years at least. The chains and bearings will need replacement according to use and maintenance. Enjoy the video!
